Your iPhone cannot be connected to the app?

Hast du ein neues neues iPhone oder iPad gekauft oder die MantisX App zum ersten Mal installiert? Es kann vorkommen, dass sich die App nicht mit dem Sensor verbinden lässt. Keine Sorge, hier ist die Lösung für dieses Verbindungsproblem.

These steps will get your Mantis X running

  1. Bluetooth On
    Bluetooth must be enabled for the MantisX app to connect to the sensor. Try not Connect the sensor via Bluetooth. The Bluetooth connection is established via the app.
  2. Turn on MantisX
    Turn on the MantisX sensor by briefly pressing the power button on the underside. The LED should flash green. This means the sensor is ready for pairing.
  3. Connect to the MantisX app
    On the homepage, click on the MantisX app CONNECTIf the connection is successful, the LED on the MantisX sensor will glow solid green and you can begin. If the app cannot connect to the sensor, go to step 4.
  4. Check the Bluetooth settings in the app
    On newer iPhones/iPads or newer iOS versions, Bluetooth access may be disabled. To fix this, go to your iPhone/iPad's Settings, find the Mantis app (the apps are listed alphabetically), tap on MantisX, and check if Bluetooth is enabled. If not, enable it and try connecting again using the MantisX app. Sometimes, turning the sensor off and on again helps.
