How does Mantis X work?
Das Mantis X ist ein kleiner Bewegungssensor, der an der Waffe angebracht wird. Dieser Sensor misst die kleinsten Bewegungen der Waffe. Sobald der Schütze den Abzug drückt, erkennt der Sensor dies und sendet die Daten unmittelbar vor, während und nach den “Schuss” via Bluetooth and das Smartphone/Tablet.
Auf dem kostenlosen Mantis App (iOS/Android) wird die Bewegung der Waffe grafisch angezeigt. Dank vielen Analysen Tipps, kann der Schütze gleich selber sehen was er verbessern kann.
Die App verfügt über viele Übungen und Kurse, die der Schütze selbstständig nutzen kann.
Is the app available in German?
Yes. The app adopts the smartphone's language setting. It's also available in other languages such as French, Italian, and Spanish.
Can I also shoot live ammunition with the Mantis X?
Yes. With the Mantis X3 or X10 Elite you can practice dry-fire training as well as live-fire exercises.
What does the score in the circle mean?
The Mantis X doesn't know where you're aiming. It only knows whether the weapon moved when you pulled the trigger. A score of 100 would mean the weapon didn't move at all while you were firing. For example, a 98.8 would mean a 5mm deviation from the point of aim at 10m and 13mm at 25m.
What is the difference between the pistol and rifle settings?
Neben unterschiedlichen Übungen gibt es bei der Granulierung der Anzeige einen Unterschied. Beim Pistolenprogramm verwendet es einen Winkel von 1/8 Grad und beim Gewehr einen Winkel von 1/16 Grad.
Zum Vergleich:
Pistole – 98 Punkte bei 10m = 9mm; 25m = 22mm; 50m = 44mm Abweichung
Gewehr – 98 Punkte bei 10m = 4mm; 25m = 11mm; 50m = 22mm; 300m = 131mm Abweichung

How do I mount the Mantis X on my SIG P210 / P49?
Da die P210 keine Aufnahme-Schiene hat, benötigst du den MagRail Universal Rail Adapter. Diesen klebst du unten an den Magazinboden dran. Hier findest du ein kleines Video dazu.

The Mantis X helps you improve your trigger control and it's also fun.
Can I use it for live-fire shooting at a distance of 300m?
Yes, you can.
What advantage does the Mantis X offer me in a live-fire scenario?
The Mantis X helps you analyze your trigger pull. You can see how the weapon moved while you pulled the trigger.
The hit indicator shows me a completely different value than the Mantis X, why?

How can I best use the Mantis X?
Meine Empfehlung nutze es mehrmals wöchentlich für dein Trockentraining und überprüfe deine Verbesserung im scharfen Schuss.
Ein sehr guter Einsatz ist das Mantis X für die 2-Stellung Schützen.
What kind of value should I aim for during dry-land training?
Whether shooting from a prone position or using a bipod, you should aim for an average of 99 points (out of 10 shots) or more.
How much should I train with the Mantis X?
That depends entirely on you. My recommendation is 3 to 4 times a week, shooting 20 to 50 shots each time. If you're a top-level athlete, you'll shoot even more.
I can't find the Stgw 57 in the weapon list under settings?
No problem. You can easily create this.
What is the benefit of creating a weapons list?
If you use the Mantis X with different weapons, you can filter by specific weapons to track your training progress.
What should I pay attention to in the app's settings?

How can I mount the Mantis X on my K31?
There are two ways to mount the Mantis X on your K31.
Für den scharfen Schuss oder für das Trockentraining, kannst du den MagRail Universal Rail Adapter and die vordere Abzugsbügel Schraube anschrauben. Dafür vergrössere das Loch der Adapters auf 8mm.
Möchtest du es nur für das Trockentraining nutzen, dann geht es auch mit dem AirRail Competition Pistol Adapter.
How can I mount the Mantis X on the Stgw 57 or Stgw 90?
Es gibt verschiedene Möglichkeiten.
– Es gibt Pistolengriff-Rail-Deckel für beide Original-Pistolengriffe
– Den MagRail Universal Rail Adapter kannst du am Magazinboden ankleben. Ein doppelseitiges Klebeband ist beim Adapter bereits dran.
– Mit der Laufmontage kannst du vorne um den Lauf montieren.
