I have put together a few tips and tricks for your Mantis Blackbeard AR-15.
Functional problems
It may happen that your Blackbeard is not working properly and only performs a trigger reset once. A little gun grease should get this going again.
Add a very small amount of gun grease around (outside the green line) the white butt. The white piston on your BCG can also be red in color.
Attention : Do not use gun oil. This can lead to a defect in the BCG and the guarantee will be void!

Our recommendation for gun grease. First from the left, SNO Universal Gun Grease is available Brownells and Waffenwildi

compatibility
The Mantis Blackbeard/X is compatible with all Milspec AR-15 platforms
Compatible are:
+ MIL SPEC/AR-15
+ SIG 516 Sport (Milspec)
+ DARM4 Advanced (Milspec)
+ Talon Gryphon GAR15
+ HK MR223A3
+ Windham
The Haenel CR223 is not compatible. The BCG cannot be pushed all the way in on the Haenel because the area of the loading lever is different from the standard (see picture on the left). In order for the BCG to fit in, you can file away a bit in this area. If you are unsure if your AR-15 is compatible with the Blackbeard/X, contact me.
Mantis Blackbeard «Zeros»
You can correct the alignment of the laser. However, it is NOT possible to zero the laser on your optics (Iron, Red-Dot, Scope). Here's a video (in English) from Mantis USA that explains exactly how to do it and why.
