Your iPhone cannot be connected to the app?

Your iPhone or iPad cannot be connected to the MantisX app ?

Have you purchased a new iPhone or iPad or installed the MantisX app for the first time? It may happen that the app cannot be connected to the sensor. Don't worry, here is the solution to this connection problem.

Follow these steps to get your MantisX up and running

  1. Bluetooth On
    In order for the MantisX app to connect to the sensor, Bluetooth must be switched on. Try not to connect the sensor in Bluetooth. The Bluetooth is connected via the app.
  2. Turn on MantisX
    Turn on the MantisX sensor by briefly pressing the power button on the bottom. The LED should flash green. This means the sensor is ready for mating.
  3. Connect MantisX app
    Click on the MantisX app on the home page CONNECT. If the connection is successful, the LED on the MantisX sensor lights up permanently green and you can get started. If the app cannot be connected to the sensor, go to point 4.
  4. Check the Bluetooth setting in the app
    With new iPhones/iPads or newer iOS versions, access via Bluetooth may be disabled. To do this, go to Settings on the iPhone/iPad and look for the Mantis app there (the apps are arranged alphabetically). Click on MantisX and check whether Bluetooth is activated. If not, activate and try to connect to the MantisX app again. Sometimes it helps to first turn the sensor off and on again.
