Laser Academy

The Laser Academy system uses a laser training cartridge that is in the chamber of your weapon and sends a laser beam to the target each time the firing pin hits the cartridge.

Using various target templates, these laser “shots” read by your smartphone/tablet and evaluated according to the selected mode and forwarded to the Mantis Laser Academy app.

The easy setup gives you the flexibility to choose when and where you want to workout. With guided exercises and real-time feedback, the Laser Academy allows you to train at home and on the go according to your wishes. The diverse exercise options provide variety and make training seem more like a game and less like a chore.

Basic target shooting and the ability to save sessions.

Exercise from the contact position for a while.

An exercise like from the film “Die Hard” with Bruce Willis. Save the hostage from a special starting position.

Bullseye 5-Shot

Without a time limit and without a start signal, you receive the results and splits from five shooting rounds.

Open Shooting – Multiple Targets: Basic target shooting with multiple target scoring and the ability to save sessions to track your progress.
Close Contact from Holster: Fast and precise shot from holster at close range. Each shot is placed, scored and timed.
Duel – 5 Shots: At the beep, both shooters draw and shoot, with the one who hits the bullseye first scoring a point. A fun way to improve speed and accuracy.
Duel – Hunt: Find and hit the target as quickly as possible.
Holster Draw – Par Timed: Fast and precise shot from the holster, against a par time. The shot must be stopped before the final bell of the par time.
Shot From Guard/Low Ready – Multi-Rep : Starting from a prompt, this mode measures your reaction time and tracks the accuracy of your shots.

Bullseye - 10 Shots: Records results and interim results for 10-shot sessions. No timer, no prompt.
Compressed Surprise Break: The aim is to improve reaction speed and shooting accuracy by shooting in response to a beep.
Duel – High Score: The fastest and most precise round of shooting against an opponent.
Emergency Reload: Timed reloading exercise
Holster Draw: Fast and precise shot from the holster. Every shot is placed, scored and timed.
Hunt: Find the announced target as quickly as possible.
Type 1 Malfunction: Fix Malfunction 1 as quickly as possible.
Type 1 Malfunction-Random: Malfunction 1 occurs during a series of shots (a click instead of a shot). Fix the malfunction (Tap Rack) and keep shooting.
