Mantis BlackbeardXDynamic dry-fire training with the AR-15

Mantis BlackbeardX combines realistic dry-land training with automatic trigger reset, laser, and motion analysis from MantisX. This allows you to not only train individual shots with your AR-15, but also analyze target changes and dynamic sequences.

BlackbeardX It tracks your movements during training and shows you where you're wasting time or making unnecessary movements. This gives you direct feedback and allows you to work specifically on your technique.

What's this BlackbeardX?

Mantis BlackbeardX is a dry-fire training system for AR-15 platforms. System It replaces the bolt and magazine, enabling realistic dry-fire training with your own weapon – without live ammunition.

The trigger is automatically reset after each shot. This allows you to fire multiple shots in succession without having to manually operate the cocking lever.

Unlike the classic Mantis Blackbeard disposes BlackbeardX additionally about the MantisX-sensor technology. This not only registers shots, but also analyzes movements and target changes.

Dynamic analysis with Mantis BlackbeardX

The particular strength of the Mantis BlackbeardX It lies in the analysis of dynamic movement sequences. System It not only records individual shots, but also tracks how you move between different targets with the AR-15.

In conjunction with the MantisX App Immediately after the training session, you will receive an analysis of your target changes. This will allow you to identify unnecessary movements and where you are losing time.

Three important factors in the analysis

BlackbeardX This will help you in particular to assess three areas of your goal changes:

Target Delay

Shows how much time elapses between reaching the target and firing the shot. A long delay may indicate that you are taking too long to stabilize or confirm your aim after changing targets.

Overtravel

This shows whether you overshoot the desired target when changing direction and then need to correct. The goal is a controlled movement that ends as directly as possible on the next target.

Transition Path

Shows the movement pattern between two targets. This allows you to see whether your target changes are direct and efficient or contain unnecessary movements.

These measurements make goal changes objectively comparable. Instead of relying solely on your feelings, you can assess your technique based on concrete data and track changes over multiple training sessions.

Training with direct feedback

A major advantage of the Mantis BlackbeardX This is the immediate feedback after each training session. You can see directly which target changes were efficient and which movements have potential for improvement.

This allows you to systematically repeat individual sequences and compare different techniques. Small changes in attack, gaze direction, or movement sequence become measurable, instead of being judged solely by feel.

Especially with regular use Dry Fire Training This allows progress to be tracked and training priorities to be specifically defined. BlackbeardX This makes it not only a training system, but also a tool for an objective analysis of your technique.

Who is it suitable for? Mantis BlackbeardX?

Mantis BlackbeardX This is particularly suitable for shooters who want to do more than just practice firing their AR-15. Analyzing movements and target changes allows for further training. System especially for dynamic shooting training.

While classic dry fire primarily trains basic procedures, it delivers BlackbeardX Additional measurement data. This allows you to see how efficiently you switch between multiple goals and where you are wasting time unnecessarily.

If you mainly need the automatic trigger reset and laser for your dry-fire training, the Mantis Blackbeard That's sufficient. If you also want to analyze your movements and target changes, it offers BlackbeardX the decisive added value.
